"One who lives with Dhamma is protected by Dhamma. "
I'm really proud to be a Buddhist. I have used to read books related to Buddhism with great interest form my childhood. When i was on 17 years old, i had a opportunity to refer the books written by Ven. Rerukane Chandawimala Thero and from that point whole my life has been changed. I have used to practice simple meditation technics like breathing exercise (Samatha) and developed the same to the deep meditation technics "Vidarshana". In the mean time i have referred many books written about Buddhist meditation by Ven.Balangoda Ananda Maitree thero, Ven Achan Chah thero, Nyanaponika Thero Etc..
My first meditation teacher was Ven Daswatte Sumanaseela Thero at Dikhena meditation center at Horana, Sri Lanka. Now i'm a meditation student of Ven Wattarama Dammadassi thero at Sri Kalyani yogashsramaya at Minuwangoda Sri Lanka.
I'm very much interested to perform charitable works without expecting anything in return. As Buddhism views, charity as an act to reduce personal greed which is an unwholesome mental state which hinders spiritual progress. A person who is on his way to spiritual growth must try to reduce his own selfishness and his strong desire for acquiring more and more.
I'm trying to share my meditation knowledge, experience and other Buddhism related things to the friends who interested in all over the world thru my blog site. Much appreciate your views to develop the blog in future.
May the Triple jems bless you!!!!!
